Magma Marblestone is comprised of over 90% natural marble. That natural marble, plus polyester resin binders and pigments, are combined in a mold, to create an elegant and modern color palate, with exceptional strength and durability.
Maintaining Magma Marblestone is easy to do with common household items and cleaners. You just need to follow these simple care and maintenance steps, as well as take the proper precautions you would take with any other finished products installed in your home. We recommend you do the following to ensure you enjoy you Magma Marblestone for years to come:
- For after use clean-up, utilize a dampened cloth, towel or disposable towel.
- When performing daily cleaning duties, use a small amount of mild, antibacterial soap.
- For stubborn stains, you can incorporate a neutral pH cleaner and a non-abrasive sponge or scrub pad.
- When using any type of cleaning agent, ensure that the marble surface is wiped completely clean upon completion of the task.
- Although Magma Marblestone has low liquid absorption, for the best long-term performance, it is advisable to seal the product annually, with an impregnating stone sealer. Follow the sealer manufactures instructions when sealing.
- Avoid exposing your marble surfaces to any chemicals or solvents.
- Many common household cleaners can have a negative effect on the sheen and appearance of your marble surfaces, be cautious of using any hard or abrasive cleaners.
- Avoid long-term exposure to any liquids, pastes, gels or creams as this could cause the products to etch.
- Ensure that after applying any cleaning products to the surface that the stone is wiped clean and free of any and all cleaning agents.
- If accidental exposure to any harsh cleaning agents happens, wipe the surface clean immediately with a wet cloth.
